37.443 alumnos dejaron las aulas de la UCV entre los años 2008 y 2016
Preocupa a las autoridades de la Universidad Central de Venezuela la deserción estudiantil. Los datos contenidos en un informe presentado por la Secretaría al Consejo Universitario antes de Semana Santa dan cuenta de que entre 2008 y 2017 la matrícula disminuyó en 15.741 estudiantes. Esta cantidad representa 33,13% del total del alumnado que existía para 2008, que era de 47.503 alumnos.
