Resumen
El presente documento analiza el fenómeno del acoso laboral en Venezuela y su marco
legal de protección. Es responsabilidad de los empleadores proporcionar un entorno
laboral seguro y saludable, así como condiciones de trabajo justas y dignas. Sin
embargo, se señala que en Venezuela ha habido situaciones de violencia laboral, que
abarcan acciones, incidentes o comportamientos que se apartan de lo razonable y que
resultan en agresiones, amenazas, humillaciones o lesiones hacia una persona en el
ejercicio de su actividad profesional. Destaca significativamente el acoso laboral, que
implica la intención de destruir a la víctima mediante la manipulación y la intimidación
sistemática. Así que se enfatiza la importancia de abordar este problema y promover un
ambiente laboral armonioso y respetuoso. Se insta a las empresas a tomar medidas
adecuadas para prevenir nuevos casos de violencia laboral y se destaca la necesidad de
denunciarlos. El estudio se basa en una metodología analítica, documental y
bibliográfica, utilizando fuentes como leyes, libros, revistas y artículos científicos. Se
examina el concepto de violencia laboral y mobbing o acoso laboral, sus manifestaciones
y consecuencias, y se subraya la pertinencia de adoptar políticas explícitas y claras en
las organizaciones para prevenir y abordar estos casos. En conclusión, el documento
destaca la conveniencia de comprender y combatir la violencia laboral en Venezuela,
promoviendo un entorno de trabajo seguro, respetuoso y libre de acoso. Se resalta la
relevancia de la legislación y las políticas organizacionales en la protección de los
derechos fundamentales de los trabajadores.

Workplace Harassment in Venezuela: An analysis of
its Manifestations and Legal Framework of
Protection
Abstract
This document analyzes the phenomenon of workplace harassment in Venezuela and its
legal framework of protection. It is the responsibility of employers to provide a safe
and healthy work environment, as well as fair and dignified working conditions.
However, it is noted that there h ave been situations of workplace harassment in
Venezuela, which encompass actions, incidents, or behaviors
that deviate from what is reasonable and result in aggression, threats, humiliations, or
injuries towards a person in the exercise of their professional activity. Workplace
harassment is significantly highlighted, which involves the intention to destroy the
victim through manipulation and systematic intimidation. Therefore, the importance of
addressing this problem and promoting a harmonious and respectful work environment
is emphasized. Companies are urged to take appropriate measures to prevent new cases
of workplace harassment, and the importance of reporting these is emphasized. The
study is b ased on an analytical, documentary, and bibliographic methodology, using
sources such as laws, books, journals, and scientific articles. It examines the concept of
workplace violence and mobbing or workplace harassment, its manifestations and
consequences, and underscores the importance of adopting explicit and clear policies in
organizations to prevent and address these cases. In conclusion, the document
highlights the need to understand and combat workplace violence in Venezuela,
promoting a safe, respectful, and harassment-free work environment. The importance
of legislation and organizational policies in protecting workers' fundamental rights is
emphasized.

fundamental para el desarrollo de un
país, tanto en el ámbito económico
como sociológico. El trabajo no solo
proporciona ingresos y seguridad
económica a los individuos, sino que
también tiene un impacto en su
bienestar emocional y su sentido de
pertenencia y realización. El trabajo
puede brindar oportunidades de
crecimiento personal, desarrollo de
habilidades y contribución a la
