Resumen: La obra reseñada constituye un trabajo introductorio a las categorías
fundamentales del Derecho Administrativo en este primer cuarto de siglo, que de-
ben ser estudiadas, conocida s y comprendidas para valorar qué se re quiere con-
servar, mejorar y eventu almente reformar en el futuro.

Abstract: The reviewed work constitutes an introductory study of the funda mental
categories of Administrative Law in this first quarter of the century. These catego-
ries must be examined, understood, and assimilated in order to assess what should
be preserved, improved, an d eventually reformed in the future.

I. INTRODUCCIÓN
En el marco de las actividades que anualmente se organizan desde el Centro de Estudios
de Regulación Económica de la Universidad Monteávila (CERECO -UMA), conjuntamente
con la Fundación de Estudios de Derecho Administrativo (FUNEDA) y con el apoyo técnico
de la Fundación Universitas, durante los meses de septiembre y octubre de 2025, se realizó la
presentación de la obra colectiva titulada «Derecho Administrativo Contemporáneo»1.
Esta reseña constituye un testimonio de las jornadas virtuales que se llevaron a cabo con
tal finalidad, así como de las grabaciones que dan cuenta de las intervenciones de los autores
y de la puesta en circulación de manera presencial en la sede de la Universidad Monteávila,
en el mes de noviembre de 2025.
II. LA DEDICATORIA DE LA PUBLICACIÓN
La publicación tiene la particularidad de estar dedicada al catedrático de la Universidad
Carlos III de Madrid, Luciano J. Parejo Alfonso.
