Resumen: Este artículo analiza la sentencia N° 65 de 20 de mayo de 2020, mediante
la cual la sala Constitucional, luego de declarar sin lugar una acción de amparo, sin
que nadie se lo pidiera, y sin proceso, declaró “válida” la Junta Directiva de la
Asamblea Nacional presidida por el Diputado Luis Parra, “prohibiendo” que la Jun-
ta Directiva presidida por el Diputado Gauidó se pudiera reunir.

Abstract: This articles analyses Decision N° 65 of May 2020 of the Constitutional
Chamber of the Supreme Tribunal, th rough which, after rejecting an injunction for
the protection of fundamental rights ( amparo), without any party request, and
without contradiction, declared “valid” the Board of Directors of the National As-
sembly chaired by representative Luis Parra, "forbidding" that the Board of Direc-
tors chaired by representative Juan Gauidó could meet.

Siempre me ha llamado la atención los que hacen los “magos” ilusionistas ante audien-
cias atentas, cuando, por ejemplo, “convierten” una pelota de tenis en una manzana, o “sa-
can” de un pañuelo unas palomas.
Pero nunca me imaginé poder presenciar una manipula ción de la realidad como la que
ha hecho el Juez Constitucional en Venezuela, actuando como “mago,” al p retender cambiar
fraudulentamente u na declaratoria sin lugar de una acción de amparo intentada contra unos
diputados, en una decisión de validación de hechos políticos y de prohibición de o tros; o
peor, presenciar cómo ese Juez Co nstitucional declaró sin lugar la petición de protección de
una persona respecto de su derecho a la participación política a través de sus representante s,
privando al mismo tiempo a todos los venezolanos de ese mismo derecho a dicha participa-
ción y representación.
