En 7 años el Gobierno ajustó sólo 4 veces tabulador de sueldos
El aumento del tabulador de sueldos y salarios de la administración pública está rezagado. El Gobierno sólo ha hecho cuatro ajustes desde 2006, cuando venció el contrato colectivo marco del sector. Antonio Suárez, presidente de la Federación Unitaria Nacional de Empleados Públicos, recordó que el primer ajuste fue de 40% y ocurrió en 2008, luego de dos años sin aumento. Sin embargo, el incremento salarial representó un sacrificio para los trabajadores, pues restringió la dinámica de los ascensos.La escala de sueldos y salarios fue reducida de 26 grados a 8: 3 para los bachilleres y profesionales, respectivamente, y 2 para los técnicos superiores universitarios.
