Gobierno controlará todos los cupos en universidades
El ministro de Educación Universitaria, Manuel Fernández, dijo ayer en la re unión del Consejo Nacional de Universidades que pidieron a la Fiscalía que garantice la inclusión de todos los estudiantes asignados por el Sistema Nacional de Ingreso de la OPSU a las casas de estudio nacionales, que en la cohorte de este año copó entre 70% y 100% de las plazas disponibles.Fernández aseguró que el año pasado solicitó a los rectores el número de cupos disponibles, en una sesión realizada el 16 de diciembre de 2014 en la que también se habrían eliminado las pruebas internas en las universidades. No es un secreto que queremos favorecer a los que menos tienen, sin desfavorecer a los que tienen.Pidió a aquellas instituciones en las que se han realizado pruebas internas, que envíen al ministerio las listas con los resultados para atenderlos.El ministro dijo que 77% de los estudiantes de educación media asiste a liceos públicos y 23% a colegios privados.
