RESUMEN
Esta investigación analiza la influencia de los estilos de liderazgo transfor macional y
transaccional en el rendimiento financiero y no financiero de las MIPYMES en Guayaquil. La
investigación es cuantitativa, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance
correlacional; el estudio compren de las microempresas de diversos sectores económi cos
ubicadas en la ciudad de Gua yaquil, cuya técnica de muestreo fue la probabilística. Entre los
hallazgos se tiene que el liderazgo transformacional tiene una relación positiva y significativa con
el rendimiento de las microempresas. En cambio, el liderazgo transaccional tiene una relación
significativa con el rendimiento, lo que permite concluir que estos estilos de liderazgo contribuyen
de manera positiva al rendimiento microempresarial.
