Resumen. Con el advenimiento de un acuerdo de paz entre las partes beligeran-
tes, en un futuro próximo, el proceso de reconstrucción de las comunidades ucrania-
nas afectadas por la guerra, demanda de cientícos sociales creativos que sean capaces
de desplegar su repertorio teórico y metodológico, al servicio de la regeneración del
tejido social, fuertemente dañado por el conicto. En esta línea de pensamiento, el
objetivo de esta investigación fue reexionar (epistemológicamente) sobre la investiga-
ción-acción participativa IAP como herramienta sociológica útil para la promoción del
turismo sostenible, en la reconstrucción postconicto de las comunidades ucranianas
afectadas por la guerra. Para lograr este objetivo se desarrolló un diseño de investiga-
ción bibliográco, anclado en los dominios de la reexión crítica y gnoseológica. A
modo de conclusión se argumenta que, aparte de reunir información emic, la IAP se
transforma en un acto político y ético, una vía para que las voces marginadas se expre-
sen y puedan reinterpretar, de forma activa y personal, sus propios traumas y anhelos
de reconstrucción de sus espacios de convivencia.
