Tengo el agrado de presentar al lector el nuevo volumen de
Frónesis (Vol. 20, No. 3, año 2013), revista arbitrada del Instituto
de Filosofía del Derecho Dr. J.M. Delgado Ocando, de la Facultad de
Ciencias Jurídicas y Políticas de La Universidad del Zulia.En este
número contamos con cuatro artículos de especialistas que abordan
diferentes temáticas relacionadas con el quehacer filosófico, jurídico
y político, en particular de la sociedad venezolana.
En primer lugar, el profesor Rolando Navarro ofrece un artí-
culo intitulado “EL GIRO PRAGMÁTICO EN LA FILOSOFÍA” y
trata acerca de las diferentes transformaciones que ha experimenta-
do la filosofía desde los griegos hasta la actualidad, en lo que respec-
ta a la relación entre teoría y praxis. Inicia con Aristóteles, para lue-
go dar el giro hermenéutico hacia la fenomenología, aporte que
parte de Dilthey, Husserl y Heidegger. Asimismo, el giro que da la
filosofía de raíces positivistas, pero que luego se distancia de esos
orígenes con autores como Peirce, James y Dewey, hacia una pro-
puesta que cierra la brecha entre teoría y praxis, con lo cual desem-
boca en una concepción pragmática de la filosofía que deviene del
acento esencialmente axiológico de la existencia humana y sus expe-
riencias, con una propuesta de actitud progresiva que supere la do-
minación política y la explotación económica.
