Resumen
El presente estudio examina la relación entre el bienestar psicológico y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes
de educación técnica de un instituto superior peruano. Para ello, se empleó un diseño no experimental,
correlacional y de corte transversal, con una muestra de 111 estudiantes pertenecientes a tres carreras técnicas.
Se utilizó la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico de Ryff, compuesta por 39 ítems, mientras que el rendimiento
académico se midió a través del prom edio ponderado institucional. Los resultados revelaron una correlación
positiva y significativa entre el bienestar psicológico total y el rendimiento académico (ρ = .32, p < .01). Entre las
dimensiones del bienestar, destacaron asociacione s especialmente relevantes en propósito en la vida,
autoaceptación, dominio del entorno y relaciones positivas. Estos hallazgos sugieren que el bienestar psicológico
es un componente formativo clave dentro del ámbito de la educación técnica. Asimismo, se propone que su
fortalecimiento puede alcanzarse mediante la implementación de estrategi as institucionales de acompañamiento
socioemocional, así como una gestión educativa que promueva el desarrollo integral del es tudiante.

Abstract
This study examines the relationship between psychological well-being and aca demic performance in technical
education students at a Peruvian higher education institute. A non -experimental, correlational, cross-sectiona l
design was used with a sample of 111 students from three technical programs. The Ryff Psychological Well-being
Scale, composed of 39 items, was used, while academic performance was measured using the institutional grade
point average. The results revealed a positive and significant correlation between overall psychological well-being
and academic performance (ρ = .32, p < .01). Among the dimensions of well-being, particularly relevant
associations stood out in purpose in life, self-acceptance, environmental mastery, and positive relationships. These
findings suggest that psychological well-being is a key formative component within the field of technical education.
Furthermore, it is proposed that its strengthening can be achieved through the implementation of institutional
strategies for socio-emotional support, as well as educational management that promotes the student's holistic
development.

Introducción
En los últimos años, el bienestar psicológico ha adquirido una presencia decisiva en el debate educativo,
especialmente en ám bitos como la educación técnica, donde las exigenc ias formativas no solo se orientan a la
adquisición de contenidos especializados, sino también al desarrollo integral del estudiante. En este tipo de
formación, el rendimiento académico no p uede explicarse únicamente desde las hab ilidades cognitivas o la
capacidad para asim ilar procedimientos técnicos; detrás del desempeño se encuentran factores emocionales,
motivacionales y contextuales que moldean, de manera profunda, las experiencias de apre ndizaje.
Esta necesidad de comprender a l estudiante como un s ujeto integral se vuelve especialm ente relevante
en la educación técnica peruana, un sistema que vive procesos de transformación y que, como señala la literatura
