La tercerización es la contratación de servicios de una empresa por otra, outsourcing. Quisiera distinguir esta figura de la de intermediación que es el suministro de mano de obra a una empresa por otra. Los dos mecanismos tienen sus ventajas. El problema es que también han sido abusadas por los patronos para no pagar lo que sería un salario equivalente al devengado por los empleados fijos. La intermediación sólo debe permitirse para trabajos de naturaleza temporal como, por ejemplo, labores de mantenimiento mayor que sólo se efectúan en plantas cada dos o tres años. Cuando la empresa principal requiera de mano de obra adicional y especializada para efectuar estos trabajos bien está que contrate con otra compañía...
