Ocho ataques violentos contra actos políticos de la disidencia seis de ellos con armas de fuego y protagonizados por grupos identificados con el gobierno ocurrieron en pocos días, el último de los cuales fue el vil asesinato del dirigente de AD en el estado Guárico, Luis Manuel Díaz. Ya es costumbre de Maduro, que antes de que la Fiscalía investigue aquellos delitos que apuntan a paramilitares del chavismo, él culpa a sicario o, como en el crimen de Díaz, a un ajuste de cuentas entre supuestas mafias sindicales.
