UCV inicia inscripciones para nuevo modelo de prueba
La próxima semana comenzará el proceso de inscripción para presentar las pruebas de admisión en la Universidad Central de Venezuela. Un nuevo ciclo comienza, pero este año el procedimiento será diferente. La ronda de exámenes que realizaba cada escuela de esa casa de estudios se reducirá a cuatro evaluaciones generales por áreas de conocimiento. El objetivo es que los aspirantes tengan más oportunidades de ingreso, al darle más relevancia a las aptitudes que al conocimiento. En julio de 2010, los decanos de las 11 facultades de la UCV iniciaron la discusión de un nuevo sistema de admisión en la universidad, que sustituye ahora a las pruebas internas, un mecanismo que el Gobierno ha calificado de excluyente dentro de sus políticas de masificación de la educación.
