Resumen
El artículo se propone analizar las posibilidades que el derecho
comparado abre para el desarrollo del derecho penal, tanto
desde el punto de vista objetivo, como científico y metodológico,
particularmente en la parte especial. A tal fin, se procede a una
revisión de definiciones del derecho comparado a los fines de
contrastarlas con los objetivos del artículo. Se propone
básicamente la elaboración de modelos a partir de la estructura
del tipo penal, sustentados en el concepto de relación, con lo
cual se reduce la complejidad de la parte especial.

metodología.
Comparative legal studies and criminal law.
Abstract
This article examines the possibilities provided by comparative
legal studies for the development of criminal law, especially its
special part, from both the objective and the scientific and
methodological perspectives. To that end, definitions from
comparative legal studies are reviewed with the aim of assessing
them in relation to the objective of the article. Overall, the
proposal is to develop models related to the structure of the
criminal type, based on the concept of relation, as a result of
which the complexity of the special part is reduced.
