El Centro para la Integración y el Derecho Público (CiDeP) y la Editorial
Jurídica Venezolana, como parte de su «Colección Manuales y Obras Ge-
nerales», publicaron la obra Derecho Civil Constitucional (La constituciona-
lización del Derecho Civil), de María Candelaria Domínguez guillén.
Este trabajo, que cuenta con prólogo de Víctor R. hernanDez-menDible, ofrece
en dos capítulos un enfoque sistemático del Derecho Civil Constitucional ve-
nezolano, en el que la autora reseña la principal doctrina nacional y extranjera
sobre este tema y las decisiones más relevantes de la Sala Constitucional del
Tribunal Supremo de Justicia en el ámbito del Derecho privado general.
En este sentido, el estudio ahonda en la «constitucionalización» del Derecho
–que, como señala hernanDez-menDible en el Prólogo, «hinca sus raíces
más profundas en la fu ndación de la República de Venezuela»1–, como otrora
lo hizo José araujo juárez en su libro Derecho Administrativo Constitu-
cional, que también forma parte de est a colección2.
