RESUMEN
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar estrategias metodológicas para la
inclusión de estudiantes con discapacidad sensorial en la Educación Física. La misma
se desarrolló desde una investigación descriptiva, de corte transversal. Los resultados
de la encuesta aplicada a 109 docentes de Educación Física permitieron identificar las
limitaciones de la educación ecuatoriana para la inclusión de estudiantes con
discapacidad sensorial en la Educación Física. Se concluye que la inclusión de
estudiantes con discapacidad sensorial, garantía del derecho universal a la educación
con equidad, depende de diversos factores como: formación y capacitación docente,
adaptación curricular, infraestructura, recursos y principalmente de la orientación
metodológica de los docentes con enfoque inclusivo de la educación.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to design methodological strategies for the inclusion of students with
sensory disabilities in Physical Education. It was developed from a descriptive, cross-
sectional investigation. The results of the survey applied to 109 Physical Education
teachers made it possible to identify the limitations of Ecuadorian education for the
inclusion of students with sensory disabilities in Physical Education. It is concluded that
the inclusion of students with sensory disabilities, a guarantee of the universal right to
education with equity, depends on various factors such as: teacher education and
training, curricular adaptation, infrastructure, resources and mainly on the methodological
orientation of teachers with an inclusive approach. of Education.
